One star because it was required to give a star. Waterbabies is great but transition to the next stage with no parent supporting is horrible! Their approach is to put the child in the pool crying and screaming until they become ok with the process. No transition stories or plan for a child which has caused negative associations with water.No support with first aid when incidents occur. OSH is non existent with slippery floors. A waste of money and given the expenses for a toddler class where they cry and run out of the pool is criminal. Support from the team is also not supportive and they need to be trained more on first aid support.

We enrolled our son for swimming lessons before 1 year and him being completely new to swimming was very nervous and uncomfortable but since six months he has gained his confident and all credit goes to State Swim staff here and the way they have designed their lessons. I would also love to share my experience about one of the trainer named Sena who has been teaching my son since 6 months. She has been so supportive and patient throughout this journey and she also puts effort in explaining what can be done to make them more confident and familiar with every mew phase.Thanks State swimSpecial thanks to Sena.

The instructors have excellent technical knowledge about swimming, classes are small and my kids have really improved their swimming skill base. I highly recommend State Swim Ellenbrook.

Both of my children have thrived at this place over the past 5 years. The teachers are so happy, positive and nurturing. Their teaching skills are refined and I always find myself watching them in complete admiration. I’m so glad that they are part of my children’s community and childhood. I could not handpick better teachers.My children attend twice a week plus swim vac and they never complain about going, but always perk up when I tell them they have their lesson. There’s a noticeable over-flow of achievement, confidence and peacefulness into the rest of their life, which is why we are so committed to it after all this time. It’s fascinating to see the results of the technique focused teaching in my children’s swimming skills.The environment is positive, the staff are obviously happy as the staff retention is amazing and it’s so nice to see the same awesome teachers 5 years later. They really have become part of our ‘village’. The management staff are so professional and talented. I take my hat off to all of the staff. This place is a joy for our family.

We love our swimming school. The staff is friendly, the instructors are amazing and child oriented. It's always nice and clean and welcoming. It can be overwhelming for the kids to go into the water, but the instructors handled even the worst tantrum with such good care, am so happy we enrolled our child at state swim.

I just want to say that Charlotte is such a great swimming instructor. I can tell she loves her job working with children. There is so much warmth and kindness in her eyes and watching her interactions with the kids is lovely. She is patient but firm.My daughter took a liking to her straight away and has since been to 5-6 classes and she already showing great progress with her kicking. My daughter is a bit of a rat bag and tends to test the patience not following the rules sometimes but Charlotte handles it nicely and my daughter always talks about her on the way home.Thanks so much!

Stateswim Ellenbrook is great! Very well organised and with programs for every age. Aqua aerobics is fun and great exercise even for older people.

Paid for classes for an entire term for my two year old. Due to my changing work schedule, I enquired about what happens when some weeks we can’t make our scheduled swim class. They told me not a problem, they just become “make up lessons” and can be redeemed at any day or time so missed lessons don’t go to waste (as they’re pre-paid). Called to let them know a month in advance that we would need to cancel future lessons because we’re forced to relocate SOR due to this rental crisis atm, but that we will still be coming in for the remainder of the term. They told me that I’m not allowed to use any of my PAID for make up lessons until I pay for the next term in advance. So I would need to pay for a whole term in advance knowing we won’t be living anywhere close to the class just to use the classes I’ve already paid for? Absolute joke.

Great lessons, and learning is fast. My boys made so many friends.

Young inexperienced people with no support in overall duty of care for incidents that occur within their establishment. No support with kids who are moving from waterbabies to kindy - which 2.5 is not kindy age and placing a kid in the water with 3 other kids in floaties hanging onto a rail isn't safe even with parents watching from the outside. Not a good experience. Will not recommend to anyone.
